Subjugation 8

Subjugation is equivalent to [URL=/help/act?type=vassal]vassalage[/URL] imposed by force. Unlike voluntary vassalage, where the overlord immediately begins collecting daily taxes, under subjugation taxation only starts on the following day. If the targeted organisation is already a vassal, and units belonging to its suzerain — direct or indirect — are present in the domain, the liege can block any attempt to change allegiance. The claimant must therefore eliminate all rival presence before being able to subjugate the organisation. Note that an independent organisation can be subjugated without resistance by any compatible organisation.
